Introduction

"To speak truly, few adult persons can see nature. Most persons do not see the sun. At least they have a very superficial seeing. The sun illuminates only the eye of the man, but shines into the eye and the heart of the child." by Ralph Waldo Emerson, used as text of Muir's schoolwide seminar this year
Our school, John Muir, is located on 4431 Mount Herbert Drive in San Diego, Calfiornia. On our 2010 CyberFair website we will show native plants of San Diego and their habitats. Our classes in grades kindergarten through twelve united around the theme of plants this year. We all visited the San Diego Botanical gardens, and we discussed nature in seminars. Some of us planted gardens, some hiked through canyons and learned more about chaparral and other biomes. Many of us painted, drew, or photographed plants this year as well as writing about them. We all worked for the best future for our area.
CyberFair is a learning program used by schools of any grade, which urges students publish their research projects about how the members of their community can contribute to their living community. Also Cyber Fair is in co-operation with World Future Society which encourages the students to think about the future and any possible ways in which we can make sure our future is secure and safe.
