San Diego Waste Company

9365 Friars Rd.

San Diego , California 92117

Dear President of San Diego Waste Company:

As you may know water pollution is off the charts, animals are dying, water supplies are decreasing, and people are getting sick.  The world is in danger!!! I need you to start filtering the waste you let into the ocean and to use cleaner techniques treat the sewage to save our oceans.

Water supplies are decreasing because contaminants are getting into the supplies. Also tools used to dump are getting dirty causing even more pollution in even more areas like the San Diego Bay and near by areas. If all the water gets contaminated, what will we drink? We must stop this, or else we will be in even more trouble than we already are. In this century environmental issues are out of control.

People are getting sick. When people go into a lake or beach with contaminants in it some times some of those contaminants get into the people's systems, causing people to get very sick. Sometimes people get life threatening illnesses. Will we be able to stop this madness or will more people suffer?

Animals are dying also. When oil tankers breach, the oil causes the animals to get sick and to become unable to swim. They also get caught in machinery. Also those six-pack rings are getting around animal's necks. Some people say this isn't happening, but the truth is it actually is still happening. Not all the companies are recycling them. Also there are not any laws saying you can't dump at the beaches.

Basically I need you to recycle as much trash as you can and to filter your sewage to keep San Diego 's beautiful beaches clean. We need your help and the help of all of the other workers of the San Diego Waste Company to help save our vast and beautiful oceans. Pleas help us with all your support. It's up to all of us. PLEASE.

Sincerely,

J H, Grade Six, Muir School
