Pakistan
Pakistan is the homeland of our lunch lady R. In Pakistan they speak many different languages, here are a few: Urdu, Bunjabi, and Baluchiu. She enjoys drinking heleem and eating birvani [meat and rice] watching T.V. Relaxing is what she likes to do in her free time. Her favorite holidays are: 14 of August [kind of like our 4th of July], Labor day, and Eicl [holy man festival]. She is Muslim and enjoys reading love stories novels and fiction. She likes listening the Pakistan music. The architecture there is just like here but instead of using wood they use bricks stones and clay. There are about 10 grocery stores in San Diego that sell Pakistan food, and there are 4-5 restaurants in San Diego. There are about 16 to 17 Muslim mosques in San Diego. Pakistan became independent on the 14th of August in 1947, before Pakistan became independent. It had been a part of India. India was a Hindu country and did not treat Muslim people well. Pakistan’s founder was Quaidazam Mohdale Jinnah. by Maureen S, gr. 8
