City Parks and Recreation Centers

In my neighborhood a very popular place where people meet or "hang out" is the park. Keiller Park is where mostly everyone hangs out after school. It’s next to Keiller Middle School. All the kids go play soccer, take a walk, or just simply talk with friends. It’s a very pretty park, the grass is very green, and there are trees everywhere. There are some grills for barbecues. It has a family environment. My brother’s soccer team goes and practice over there.

Another place where people also hang out is the city recreation center. At recreation centers they do lots of activities such as sports or games. Some of the sports they play are basketball, soccer, baseball. I’m involved in an activity, aerobics. Aerobics is really fun, and it’s a way to stay healthy. Every time I go for aerobics I always see teens and kids there either watching what we are doing or participating in the activity. Crystal

Balboa Park is renowned for its history portrayed on the buildings that have been erected there. It’s truly a sight to see, from its water fountains to the old constructions of the buildings and museums.

In 1868 Balboa Park’s foundation of square acres were established. Which stretched across fourteen hundred acres for the park’s construction on a scrub filled mesa. Thus all you see here was made on.

Balboa Park is also famous for their many diverse museums throughout. Such as the Natural history museum, Museum of Man, and the San Diego Space and Air museum, just to name a few.
