We think it is a very bright; democracy has taken route in Africa. Look at the post colonial era where Africa was a basket case of military dictatorship, one party state etc. We have reached a point where everyone accepts the fact that there should be majority rule that is now enshrined.

A.U. protocol and also ECOWAS protocol, so today in Africa when there is a military take over you are not recognized. Mauritania cannot take their in the A.U. anywhere because there is a military take over unless they go back to constitutional rule, you will not as the president of Mauritania this as an exact opposite of what was happening in the past where people took guns and shot their into power and African countries were recognizing them and they were sitting in O.A.U. and ECOWAS and things like that.

So we think politics is moving forward. Ghana has just succeeded in the Peer Review Mechanism for a country to say that come into my country, come and talk to my opposition, media, stake holders, civil society and report the conduct of the government. Therefore, wse think the future of politics in Ghana and the world at large is very bright.

We believe that you and I can,
if we really make up our minds
put an end to foul play in the game of politics.

ONCE AGAIN LET’S CLEAN UP THE DIRT IN POLITICS.
