Naval Base in Point Loma

The Naval base at Point Loma is somewhat of a hotel, you could say.  This special base checks in all the sailors who come in from waht is now the war in Iraq. It is important that this base stays up and running for the fact that all the sailors who are deployed come to the naval base to get some rest and restock on supplies. Normally you get submarines on the base that come in. Their sole purpose right now is to protect and serve, making sure that the United States is terrorist free and to hlep in many ways.  We have had many subs go and help in the tsunami disaster relief. There's so many things that the navy is involved in.  It will definitely be in the future and be involved in anything. It has to keep us from harm's way.

There are millions of workers you could consider the military. Like ants they all work together to accomplish their goals and make sure the work is equally distributed between the workers.  To become part of the military one would need a high school diploma. They do get benefits. It covers doctor visits and anything they need they pretty much get except for a dental plan.  Working conditions are pretty harsh. Military people are away from family a lot. Deployments could last from six months or more.  Working hours can go from 12 to 18 hours. It's tough but it's well worth it if you like travelling a lot and don't mind being under water for a while.

I believe that the military will be in service in 20 years for obvious reasons. We need protection.  I wouldn't work for the military.  It has existed for well over 200 years, and it still has a bright future. It just goes to show that freedom isn't really free. It's a life being put at risk to keep us free. Show your respect for those people, and if you decide to join, good luck.
