| Coldwell Banker Alliance Real Estate This business is owned by a family. It is a franchise. In real estate people selllhomes and buy homes. The customers are people who want to buy or sell a home. This business is open whatever hours the real estate agents are available. It's been in operation for a very long time. Special achievements of this business are to see more houses than other buinessses, to have more people come to you. Somethimes the real estate compaies contribute money to Children's Hospital. The real estate company is really big. They have up to 300-400 real estate agents working there and some companies have secretaries and loan people too. In real estate everybody dresses nice. No uniforms, but the men wear suits and the women where clothes like slacks and a nice blouse in real estate. The agents call people and find out if they want to buy or sell their home. Agents only make commission so they try to sell at least three comes a month. average commission on a home is about 3,000-4,000 dollars. When working in real estate, you're baically unemployed. You can get benefits through the company you're selling the home for. This business I believe will be around for a long time. This business will be needed because people like to have someone directing them in the right direction while buying a home. I don't think it'll change much unless we come up with some super hightech stuff to do processing a lot faster. To qualify you have to be eighteen.
