Uzbekistan

Partners:

We met our first partner in Uzbekistan on a teacher's page, but by now we have participated in projects with students in Termez including iEARN, Flat Stanley, and GVC.

One teacher visited us at Muir in 2004 when we were on Armstrong Street. He did a lot of teaching, visiting, and learning during his time in San Diego. He also attended a workshop in New York with one of our teachers.

We will stand ready to try anything with these faithful and talented collaborators. They have made a twelve-hour time difference seem like nothing. See a few of our projects below.

Timur wrote, "There are more then 2 million people live in Tashkent capital of Uzbekistan. It is biggest city in central Asia I love chuchvara, uzbek national food and i like pizza. Our national song is Yashasin O'zbekiston. Here teenagers very active they study, work and helping other people My favorite holiday is Womans Day-8 march very beautiful day of the year in Uzbekistan. We are democratic republic too. We border with Afghanistan, and there many uzbeks in that country. If I had a chance I would like to visit New York, a very big and fabulous city in the world.
